Where are we?
You can find us at the tourist boat dock, in front of Les Algues, next to the Musclarium hut. Maritime promenade of the port of La Rápita, Tarragona. Find us on a map by clicking here.
What can we find on board?
The Butterfly is a comfortable and stable classic sailboat, very well maintained and clean, with a clear and easily accessible deck. Inside you will find a cabin to change and a very clean bathroom. Lie on the comfortable sun mattresses or relax in the shade of the large stern sofa with a cold drink.
Is the Butterfly available for special events?
Absolutely! Transform the Butterfly into the perfect setting for your projects, wine and cava tastings, weddings, corporate incentives, birdwatching, photo and video sessions. You can find some examples on our Instagram and Youtube profile.
What is the booking process?
Book online with credit card by following the link below (management fees apply): link
Contact us directly by WhatsApp to receive information and instructions on how to proceed with the booking. We accept cash, bank transfer, Bizum and all major credit cards.
You can also fill in the contact form and we will get back to you within the next 24 hours.
We request a 50% deposit to confirm the booking. The final amount can be paid in advance or on the day of your charter.
We are required by law to collect the ID or passport details of the beneficiary to prepare the rental contract and invoice.
Cancellation policy
If sea conditions are bad, we will cancel the trip and refund you 100% of the price. If the sea is a little rough and may affect the comfort of your excursion, we will contact you. We don’t want you to have a bad experience at sea.
If you cancel 7 days in advance we will refund 100% of what was paid minus €50 management fee; if you cancel with less than 7 days notice, the deposit cannot be refunded.

We meet 10 minutes before the activity at the Butterfly wooden hut, at this location
Is there parking?
Yes, there is free parking a few meters from the meeting point.
What should we bring?
We recommend bringing a swimsuit and towel, but also something warm in case it gets cool later, binoculars if you have them, and insect repellent for when we arrive at port.
Does it include a welcome drink and snack?
The price always includes a cold welcome drink: soft drink, beer or cava.
If you book places for a group activity, the price includes a small snack.
If you book the sailboat for a private trip with skipper, the price does not include a snack because most groups prefer to bring their own drinks and food, but if you prefer we can arrange a snack so that everything is ready for a great day.
What does the snack consist of?
The snack consists of:
– Morning route: tray with assorted sandwiches, crisps and fruit for 11 people €50
– Sunset route: tray with traditional artisan pastries, carquiñoles and fruit for everyone: €50
Can we buy more drinks on board?
Yes, you can buy very cold drinks such as soft drinks, beers and cava.
Is there a private bathroom?
There is a very clean private bathroom for your needs and a cabin to change and leave your belongings.
¿Can I get seasick?
It is very, very unlikely to get seasick on these trips because we sail in protected and calm waters; the navigation is very stable and smooth thanks to the long keel of the 14-tonne sailboat. Even people who tend to get seasick have been surprised not to. We have seasickness tablets available if you prefer.
